Mrs. Marina Pekri is currently a PhD candidate in the field of Satellite Altimetry at the Department of Civil Engineering and Geomatics at Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) under the supervision of Dr. Chris Danezis. She holds a BSc “Survey Engineering and Geomatics” and a MSc, with distinction, in “Geoinformatics and Geospatial Technologies” from the CUT. Mrs. Marina Pekri is currently an Assistant Researcher A’ in ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence and she is involved in ‘EXCELSIOR’ funded projects. Also, she has worked as a Research Associate at Electricity Authority of Cyprus, being responsible in updating the servers in ArcGIS environment. Apart from that, she has attended the planning department, designing the infrastructures static plans. Also, she has experience in teaching as Teaching Assistant at the courses of Geodesy. Furthermore, she has been trained in ArcGIS platform (ArcGIS I, ArcGIS II, Spatial Analyst, 3D Analyst, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro) at Marathon Data Systems in Athens. Amongst others she is a member of the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ETEK). Her research focuses on Satellite Altimetry, Radar, GIS Applications, Remote Sensing and Geodesy.
